Dear Postal workers
I cannot believe you guys have yet again voted to strike, causing further misery to everyone.
We understand you want great terms and conditions; doesn’t everyone want that for themselves?
You know you’re on a sinking ship; you’ve bled the service dry for years, surely a total collapse of the postal system can’t be far away?
Yet still you remain greedy and selfish, despite the high rising unemployment figures, of which you will all soon be a part of.
In today’s current financial climate, the post office has to adapt and that will mean redundancies, just like any other company out there.
Your own selfish greed and the stranglehold your union has cannot be sustained forever. Public anger is rising and sooner or later you’ll be signing on like millions of others.
You have no consideration for the urgency of the mail you are in charge of delivering, spare a thought for those innocently caught up in your actions.
Those people out there who are missing vital hospital appointments, test results, medical deliveries and companies going broke because of payments held up in the mail.
People getting cut off because cheques (which were sent in plenty of time) are sat in a depot somewhere gathering dust.
It’s bad enough that you manage to lose so much of the mail you’re delivering; now you want to hold us to ransom yet again.
Shame on the lot of you, I hope your demise comes soon.
