I’m glad you’re at peace now

All I can say is thank god it’s only once a year. Although a week long visit is testing our patience to the max.
Next year we shall be out/away/on a remote island/dead/anything but with you.

I hope your gift arrives tomorrow as it should. it’s something very different that I know you’ll love.
Just wanted to say I’m proud of you for never giving in. you will get you strength back even if some days it may not feel like it.
